A competition is announced among SFedU students for a rector’s scholarship to study at a foreign partner university during the fall semester of the 2025-2026 academic year. The rector’s scholarship is intended to partially cover the costs of staying abroad for students wishing to study at a foreign partner university during the semester.
The scholarship amount is 200,000 rubles.
Bachelor’s degree students of the 2nd and 3rd years, specialist’s degree students of the 2nd and 4th years, and master’s degree students of the 1st year are eligible to participate in the competition.
Other mandatory conditions for admission to participation are:
- full-time or part-time education;
- no academic debts;
- proficiency in a foreign language at level B1 or higher.
Participants of the competition must:
1. Select a partner university and a study program
2. Prepare and send the following documents to the e-mail address of Elena Konstantinovna Zashchitina (ekzashitina@sfedu.ru) by March 6, 2025 (inclusive) in electronic (word) and paper form:
— Application addressed to the rector (download);
— Application for participation in the academic mobility program (download), signed by the head of the educational program and the coordinator of academic mobility Elena Konstantinovna Zashchitina;
— A characterization-recommendation from the academic supervisor or head of the educational program in free form;
— A motivational essay on the topic: “Why I want to study for a semester at the chosen foreign university” in English or Russian, depending on the language of instruction at the foreign university (about 2800 characters, including spaces);
— For studying in foreign countries — a certificate of proficiency in a foreign language indicating the level (if you do not have such a certificate, say to Zashchitina Elena Konstantinovna);
— Portfolio of individual achievements (for example, a list of scientific publications, documents confirming participation in Russian and international conferences, festivals, winning student olympiads, competitions, receiving grants, etc.).
Attention! In the application for participation in an academic exchange, you can indicate up to 3 universities, arranging them in order of priority. Documents are sent as an archive in rar or zip format, each file must be numbered and named in accordance with the list provided above.
3. Pass an interview with members of the selection committee online after the end of the deadline for accepting documents.
